VALVES

Since the beginning of the 80's, our company has been part of the market for water-gas valves used in water heaters. In order to meet the needs of an ongoing evolution market, we have created series 2000 of modular valves.
Series 2000 was created with a different concept: to meet the needs of all the range of instantaneous water heaters. Its final aim is to increase as much as possible the life quality of the final consumer.
Quality and nobility of the components we use, as well as our manufacturing processes, make Interlaken valves one of the most reliable products in the market.
USES:
- Instantaneous water heaters

DR-02 gas - water valve

This valve outstands for having a compact and simple design. It closes by cams which activate blocking pads which make contact with the valve seats only at the moment of the closing. This way, their shelf life can be extended. Its design allows an ideal regulation in 225°, thus, obtaining temperature increases proportional to each grade in the turn of the operation.
Such product is prepared to be used in water heaters whose capacity differs from 6 l./min. to 18 l./min.
They control the minimum flows of the main burner, thus, making sure the ignition of the device is in a constant and repetitive way.
The design of this valve considers a system which allows the technician to control the pressure of the gas network that feeds the device.
Thanks to its design, the gas - water valve is able to compete efficiently in the conventional water heaters sector.

PL-01 gas - water valve (with no permanent pilot flame)

This valve adds all the advantages of DR-02, plus an electronic system with no pilot flame designed for any model of water heater. The use of this system includes three main advantages:

Economy: It saves up a considerable amount of gas per year since the pilot is switched off.
Hands-free system: no manual operation.
Maintenance: the turning off of the pilot avoids the early destruction of both the heat exchanger and the pilot burner.

Components:

- Electroniccommand
- Micro-solenoidvalves
- Water valve activated by Venturi tube
- Closingoperatedthroughcams.

Characteristics:

- Water-proofencapsulatedelectroniccircuits
- 1,5 V alkalinebatteryfeeding
- If there is no flame, the gas feeding the burner is instantaneously interrupted and sparks start again.
- If the flame sensor suffers an interruption or short-circuit, the flame is interrupted.
- Interruptions longer than 45 seconds deactivate the system.
- If there is no gas at ignition, the system waits for 45 seconds and is deactivated.
- The system is activated every time the tap is opened or closed.
- Battery expiry cannot happen during functioning. If the system starts working, it can go on for a considerable time.
- Batteries cannot be changed while the system is working. It has to be stopped first.
- The valve presents three safety levels: solenoid - handling - water chamber
- It does not require professionals. Batteries are changed by the user.

BO-01 gas - water valve (with no pilot flame)

These valves ad all the advantages of DR-02, plus an electronic system with no pilot flame designed for any model of water heater. The use of this system included three main advantages:

Economy: It saves up a considerable amount of gas per year since the pilot is switched off.
Hands-free system: No manual operation.
Maintenance: The turning off of the pilot avoids the early destruction of the heat exchanger.

Components:

- Electronic command

- Water valve operated by Venturi tube
- Closing operated through cams

Characteristics:

- Water-proof encapsulated electronic circuits
